*That bright, sunny, one-of-a-kind berry taste, wrapped in sweet and malty low notes.*
Sun-Kissed Huckleberry is a offering from Lake Missoula Tea Company.
One ounce is equal to about 15 cups as you can reuse the tea multiple times.
Sun-Kissed Huckleberry wraps up everyone’s favorite mountain high berry into a caffeine-free herbal tea. For those of us lucky enough to roam the Montana woods in late summer, stumbling on a patch of fresh huckleberries always feels like good fortune. So tasty! Bears love them too, so stay alert, and leave some huckleberries for the next hungry visitor.
Our Sun-Kissed Huckleberry tries to capture all of this: the rare sweetness of fresh berries, along with the fleeting joy of a Rocky Mountain summer. The cup has a complex flavor, beginning with that bright berry note, and then filling out with marshmallow root’s malty sweetness. The fruity–tart layer returns as the flavor lingers, echoed in the rosehips and lemon myrtle. This tea reliably wins our customers over. Drink it hot, or drink it cold—both taste delicious. Drink it in the mountains, or drink it when you need to visit the mountains in your imagination.
Huckleberries grow in a particular ecosystem of the Pacific Northwest—and it’s shrinking. They prefer high elevations, acidic soil, and partial shade: in other words, a Rocky Mountain evergreen forest. Efforts to grow them commercially have failed.
