Ashwagandha is sanskrit for "Power of a Horse". No promises, just dropping some etymological knowledge.

(a similar translation come up as "Smells like a horse", but what's the fun in that?)

This is a carefully crafted, rejuvenating tea for men. Based in Ayurvedic practice, it's intended to energize – especially after exercise or exertion, yet is not a stimulant. On the contrary it can help with restful sleep. It includes Ashwagandha root, tulsi holy basil, organic assam, organic pu-erh, citrus peel, neem leaf, vetiver tool, goji berries…

The organic assam black tea component is from Northern India, and gives a malty, smooth, present taste. Organic pu-erh, adds a sherry-like earthiness, slightly peety. Citrus peel adds liveliness, sweetness, and sparkle. Neem leaf provides a bitter component to balance the sweetness.

A Neem tree is an evergreen native to India and Southeast Asia. Gandhi often held meetings beneath the spreading canopy of a Neem. The very bitter quality in neem is "tikta" in Ayurvedic study, it's one of the six recognized tastes and the "coldest". The purpose of neem leaf being a balance to sweetness. It adds a cooling, drying- and in concept, a dispersive effect. Think Winter.

Vetiver root, also native to India is known for it's calming effect. It's aromatic qualities are a perfect compliment to citrus. Tulsi holy basil fosters a sense of well being, stamina, respiration. It's an organic herbal botanical made of leaves and blossoms right after first flowering. Goji berries. They're mostly just a lot of fun. While ashwagandha is generally considered safe, herbs do have effects, and Ashwagandha is not recommended for pregnant women. Women - check out the all organic Gopi Tea!

Overall the intention of this tea is something that's both calming, and rejuvenating, especially for men.

So. A story…In Hinduism there's a story about KRSNA, who is an incarnation of god with over sixteen thousand wives, and the Gopi, a group of women tending cattle near a river who have unconditional love for him. In this story KRSNA (Krishna) appears as a blue skinned young man playing a flute.

The Gopi of Vrndavana have been tending their cattle. One hundred eight Gopi have left their clothes on the bank and just jumped into the water for a swim when Krishna (with godlike timing) and being a prankster by nature, appears and hides their clothes.

There's some fun banter back and forth and the requests to have their clothes back causes an enlightenment in the Gopi- …Just as their clothes are transitory, and not their identity, their bodies are not their identity either. It's in that realization KRSNA agrees to return the clothes, and one by one becomes husband to each of the 108 Gopi, probably taking at least the rest of the afternoon, if not longer..

...If you're going to be a god, THAT is a great talent to have.

Tea, like many things will not last forever. Enjoy it now.
