CP Select Sumatra Mandheling
Flavor Notes: cocoa, grapefruit with citric acidity, heavy mouthfeel and a tobacco aftertaste
9/2020 Updated Name from Sumatra Mandheling TP to CP Select Sumatra Mandehling. The reason for this change is that the for the incoming crops we will be moving back to a Double Picked (DP) with the most similar flavor notes. We were unhappy with the Triple Picked (TP) options on the cupping table. Therefore, this coffee is a better fit to be put under our CP branding, which allows us some flexibility in order to maintain a consistent flavor profile.
This Sumatran coffee is either Double (DP) or Triple Picked (TP) for defects. This is an quality control measure that refers to the number of times this coffee has been hand-sorted for defects.
You'll find a sweet, clean profile that has a high cup quality.
