Costa Rica La Magnolia
From the same folks that bring us Costa Rica La Minita. This is a fine example of Costa Rican Tres Rios coffee. The first thing you'll notice about La Magnolia is its citrus and honeysuckle aroma.

From the same folks that bring us Costa Rica La Minita. This is a fine example of Costa Rican Tres Rios coffee. La Magnolia has acidity, body, and flavor, but the exceptional characteristic of this coffee is the sweet and floral aroma. Clean acidity, medium body and intense yet delicate flavors of citrus, maple, and honeysuckle.
Insecticides are not used on the farm. Fortunately, the geographic advantages of the farms climate and altitude limits the number of insect pests. Most importantly, through our careful cultivation and weeding techniques we produce coffee trees which are strong and healthy. The few pests that we have do not significantly affect the trees.
They use the fast growing, broad-leafed “poro” as our shade tree. These trees are planted on a grid of varying density depending on the light requirements and need for temperature control in each individual section.
